Artist Statement
The focus of my work is to connect with the natural world that surrounds me in a whimsical and imaginative manner. Each piece has been inspired by a small interaction within a larger context. From the creatures I suit for this realm to the doors and dwellings I design and construct, each one encourages the beholder find the magic behind the reality.
The formal training I received in mathematics emboldens me to apply a natural problem solving ability, face challenges, and continue to grow with my art. Remaining open to different mediums allows the magic to find the life it was always meant for in this realm.

What Our Clients Say

Kimberly Long, Artist
Thanks to the continuing support of The Arts Center in Corvallis, OR. Their work to create a just, equitable, and transparent organization for the arts to grow and thrive in my community is one of the reasons I confidently walk this path with my critters, creatures, Wanderers, & Gnooks.
